The Ness Creek Cultural and Recreational Society hosts a festival at Ness Creek every July and will use this facility for their operational needs, as well as for dances, workshops, demonstrations and performances during the festival. Dance performance and instruction is one of the many activities offered at their festival, but on a limited scale and without proper facilities, so the horsehair dance floor has great appeal. Ness Creek also requires a four-season facility for their extended programming and year-round events, including: concerts, dances, retreats, workshops, meetings, performances, office & storage space, recording sessions, and arts & crafts sales.
